After talking with couch potato, it dawned on me that much would change the moment I settled into Switzerland. I wouldn’t have time to pull any of those “strings” that I used to when I’m still in Singapore. If you ask me who actually bothered, I can just count them easily using my two hands. Are most people really just plain lazy and just can’t be bothered to even tighten the bond they once had. No wonder, like they say, the number of your really close friends will just keep diminishing as the wheel of time continues spinning. I’m so tempted to leave Switzerland quietly, I see no point in informing my whole contact list about my impending departure and perhaps my long disappearance from this sunny island of mine. So if you manage to decipher this message, ask yourself. When’s the last time you initiate to meet up with your friend instead of waiting to be called upon?
