went to Jason's supermarket to shop for my dinner yesterday.. had a good chat with the auntie at the Deli and after that i scoot off to hunt for my food. Its a good feeling. its a familar feeling. I used to do that when i live at tiong bahru. came back from school then i head to the supermarket and usually buy a piece of steak and a bottle of coke and head home to grill the steak. then will open my ice cold coke and lunge at my divine pleasure of life while i watch all the VCDS that i used to bought when i first moved in cos i'm really bored at first. while shopping, i felt empowered. and yes, i get it now.. this is the feeling i wanna instilled to my scouts and to my future childrens. the streak of independence. I love taking control of my life...
